DVI splitter for connecting two 8MP monitors to a Large Monitor Manager. An Full HD monitor can also be connected. The output signal of the Large Monitor Manager can thus be displayed simultaneously on two 8MP monitors and one Full HD monitor (downscaling).
Connection of two 8MP Monitors
The PDS0800-HD repeats and doubles the output of the Large Monitor Manager LMM56800 or LMM0802-HDM that two 8 megapixel monitors can be connected. The image composition arranged by the Large Monitor Manager is displayed simultaneously on both connected monitors. The 8MP signals are each transmitted via two DVI Dual Link signals (A + B).
Additional Downscaling
The HD output of the PDS0800-HD generates an additional signal with a downscaled Full HD representation of the 8MP picture. This means that an additional Full HD monitor can be connected to display the image composition arranged by the Large Monitor Manager in a lower resolution. The HD output can also be used without connecting an 8MP monitor.
Operation with a Large Monitor Manager
If the PDS0800-HD is operated with a Large Monitor Manager (LMM), it can be controlled via the user interface of the LMM. During operation, the LEDs on the PDS0800-HD indicate the respective connection status.
Installation facile
The compact dimensions and low weight of the PDS0800-HD allow easy installation in a rack.
Use of two DVI-Splitters
Up to two PDS0800-HD can be connected in series, the address of the DVI-Splitters is set with rotary controls.
Redundant Power Supply
The PDS0800-HD is supplied with one power supply unit. Another power supply unit can be connected for redundant power supply. This is available as an accessory.
Power Supply for DVI Connectors
All DVI connections (outputs and inputs) are provided with a 5V power supply. Thus a DVI transmission link (TDL3600 or TDL2300) can be connected without an external supply. The 5V power supply at the inputs of the PDS0800-HD can be switched off.
